No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. This stunning print by Arthur Wesley Dow is a masterpiece of Art Nouveau style. Born in 1857, Dow was an American painter, printmaker, and photographer. In 1893, Dow was appointed assistant curator of the Japanese collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston under Ernest Fenellosa. This original print, created in 1896 on Japan Paper, features a stunning landscape in shades of green. The piece is signed by the artist Arthur W. Dow. Dow died on December 13, 1922, in his home in New York City. Picture frame is 24 1/4" tall and 21" wide. Clean and estate fresh.
