Camark Venetian Jonquil 1920s Vintage Art Pottery Black Ceramic Vase Lessell Tall and hard to find vase decorated with a metallic red daffodil and gold/green leaves. Shows well with a tight 'Y' hairline to rim. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with gold Genuine Arkansas ink stamp used between 1927 and 1928. Vase is 9 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide. John Lesselll's and his wife's work on Venetian luster for Camark initiated a totally new luster technique and broadened the scope of American art pottery manufacturing.
