Excellent Condition
- Clewell Copper Clad Vintage Arts And Crafts Pottery Brown Ceramic Vase 388-4. Good sized bulbous vase with a wonderful metallic copperclad overlay.. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind.. Bottom marked with Clewell and numbered.. Vase is 6 3/4" tall and 4 3/4" wide..Clewell purchased ceramic blanks from Ohio potteries such as Weller, Owens, McCoy and Roseville. He then electroplated the ceramic with copper on which he added patination. His best examples include blue, green, black and brown patinas..
