Douglas Ferguson Pigeon Forge Tennessee 1984 Large Black Bird Crow Statue Large and very rare black crow on a rock. Great color, detail design and glaze. Excellent original condition. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with Pigeon Forge Tenn. 1984, and artist signed Douglas Ferguson. Figurine is 10" tall and 14" wide. Clean and estate fresh. Pigeon Forge Pottery in Tennessee was founded by Douglas Ferguson, production began in 1947. Each piece was molded or hand thrown and then hand finished. Production ceased in November 2000 with the passing of Mr. Ferguson. The most valuable and collectible of the Pigeon Forge Pottery pieces are those created and signed by the founder Douglas Ferguson.
