Jug is 9" tall and 8 1/2" wide from ear to ear. The Meaders family pottery was founded by John Milton Meaders in 1893 in Mossy Creek, Georgia. He began the family face jug production making 1000s in addition to a full line of functional pottery. They were one of the first families in which females took up the art of folk pottery.
