Maigon Daga Studio Art Pottery Ceramic Pig Swine Sculpture Statue Figurine 51 Good sized mid century modern seated pig on a granite rock in a nice, mottled brown glaze. Excellent original condition. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom is artist signed Daga and has original sticker as seen in photos. Total dimensions with base are 6 1/4" tall and 6 1/2" wide. Figurine is 5 1/4" tall and 5 1/4" wide from snout to tail. Clean and estate fresh. Maigon Daga emigrated from Latvia and settled in the Minneapolis/St Paul area in the 1950s. Daga is recognized for his art deco and modern forms as well as superior, organic, earth tone glazes.
