Markham 1910 Vintage Art And Crafts Pottery Matte Brown Ceramic Vase 3515 Very rare and early Markham arts and crafts brown vase. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Minor wear and discoloration as typical. Bottom marked with Markham and 3515. Vase is 6" tall and 3" wide. Markham Pottery was produced in Ann Arbor, MI from 1905-1912. The pottery moved to National City, California in 1913. All Markham pieces were incised Markham and numbered. Markham pieces above 6000 are believed to have been made in National City. Markham developed a surface treatment that he kept secret and it has never been duplicated. The company went out of business in1917 and Mr. Markham passed away in 1922.
