Excellent original condition. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with Pewabic Detroit logo. Vase is 4 1/2" tall and 4" wide. Pewabic Pottery, founded in 1903 in Detroit, Michigan, stands as a cornerstone of the American Arts and Crafts movement. Renowned for its innovative use of iridescent glazes, Pewabic developed a glazing technique that mirrored the lustrous finishes of ancient ceramics, infusing their pieces with an almost ethereal quality. These glazes, perfected under the artistic direction of Mary Chase Perry Stratton, exhibit a captivating interplay of light and color, with shimmering hues that range from deep bronzes to vibrant blues and greens. Each vase is a testament to the craftsmanship and artistic ingenuity of the early 20th century, embodying both functional design and artistic expression. Collectors prize these works not only for their aesthetic beauty but also for their historical significance, as they represent a unique convergence of artistry, experimentation, and cultural heritage. Excellent Original Condition
