They display well with no chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Both birds have factory firing lines as typical..Bottoms artist signed D. Ferguson.. Birds are 2" tall, 3 1/4" wide (beak to tail) and 1 1/2" side to side.. Pigeon Forge Pottery in Tennessee was founded by Douglas Ferguson, production began in 1947. Each piece was molded or hand thrown and then hand finished. Production ceased in November 2000 with the passing of Mr. Ferguson. The most valuable and collectible of the Pigeon Forge Pottery pieces are those created and signed by the founder Douglas Ferguson..
