Pigeon Forge Tennessee Art Pottery Brown White Ceramic Face Sculpture Wall Art Rare, unique and large wall hanging depicting a face in a brown and white mottled glaze. Excellent original condition. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Back marked with Pigeon Forge Pottery and artist signed D. Ferguson. Wall art is 16 1/2" tall and 9 1/4" wide. Pigeon Forge Pottery in Tennessee was founded by Douglas Ferguson, production began in 1947. Each piece was molded or hand thrown and then hand finished. Production ceased in November 2000 with the passing of Mr. Ferguson. The most valuable and collectible of the Pigeon Forge Pottery pieces are those created and signed by the founder Douglas Ferguson.
